>>5240368>Keep in mind, modern joes are giants inside this tomahawk/eaglehawk as well. Heck, no way to fit a joe in a 1/18 car without taking their legs off.GI Joe vehicles in general are dwarfs. They've always look big, but the Mini is even bigger, making it look even worse.
Also, GI Joes have always had a problem getting into 1:18 scale cars. Even before the scale switch and this is because the interiors are way too small. The seats are positioned way to the front, as if for a little grandmother. So any adult male would have trouble fitting.
Also, you ruined your Tomahawk with that Gundam Marker.
>>>5240390 the main reason people don't mix ARAH GI Joes with the new sculpt and modern sculpt is precisely the sculpt and in some degree the body proportions, the styles are very different , the minimal difference in size only bothers some dudes.I don't think so.
Again, I point out Mattel's first 1:18 line, which is actually 3.75" scale. Same with DCC's. Most of them were really well detailed, but are manlets compared to MU/GI Joes. It was a pretty big deal and still is, enough that Mattel corrected themselves (as did other toy soldier lines).
Nevermind there is a style difference AND proportion difference with the minis too.
Yeah, there will be people who will overlook the scale difference, but it is an issue with many, enough that children's toy companies responded to nerd demands.
