Haven't had one of these for a while. What are you looking forward to from NECA/whoever else is still doing Xeno stuff? What are your favourite Xeno/Predator figures? What company would you like to have a shot at an Alien or a Predator?

AvP Predators will be my next Neca purchase

I really like the original Jungle Hunter and City Hunter 7 inch figures by Neca, and some of their retools/repaints like Big Red and Battle Armored Lost Predator are cool as fuck too.
My favourite xeno is probably the new black genocide one, either him or the dog alien.

Honestly I wouldn't mind seeing a Figma Xeno. Even if it turned out a complete trainwreck it'd be interesting to see how they handled it. To be fair to GSC/MF, Figma engineering is usually pretty competent, so it'd probably end up fairly articulated at the very least.

Also, nice trips.

It'd probably be similar to Revoltech's attempt, which is pretty good aside from being a bit small.

Yeah, I saw that. The Revo Aliens are on my want list, if nothing else because of that glorious paint. The Predator on the other hand...yeesh. I kinda want them to have another go at it and see if they can get it right, but...my hopes aren't high.

I'd honestly like to see Bandai learn from the mistakes they made with the Wolf Predator (notably the awful mandibles) and make the original Predator in the S.H. Monsterarts line. It's a shame there's no alternatives to NECA for good Predators- looks like I'm stuck with occasionally iffy QC and a weird scale (NECA uses 7" scale or something weird IIRC- though I suppose Predators are pretty big guys after all).

Bandai's Wolf was great if you use the helmet instead of the mandible head. It's still not the worst they could've done with the changing mandibles either.

NECA doesn't really fit with anything except NECA unfortunately. They use this kinda odd scale that's a bit bigger than most 1:12 figures, so she'd be a tad out of scale with the Monsterarts Big Chap. Not that it'd be hugely noticeable with something like the Queen that's already huge.

TLDR: It should look fine but if you're particularly picky about scale she might be too big.

Yeah. Literally all they'd need to do if they did do more Preds is devise a different system for the mandibles (whole separate faceplates perhaps?). I'm kinda tempted to pick up the Wolf as for all its flaws I did enjoy the Monsterarts Big Chap, and Requiem was fairly enjoyable. If they brought out a Big Chap 2.0 with a bendy wire tail and better accuracy I'd buy it though. In the mean time I''ll just justify mine as a different individual to the Drone that slaughtered the crew of the Nostromo and exhibits slight physical differences.

Definitely go for the SHMA Wolf if you can find one. I have the original but the Heavy Armor version has more stuff.
I agree with the face plate idea, or maybe even a separate head or just a better way to peg in the mandibles.

Bought a NECA Xeno Warrior at a con today.

Good: sculpting is great, tail is awesome, jaw is fantastic, feels good and heavy, nice size.
Bad: paint could be better, articulation underwhelming, especially the head, plastic feels oddly rubbery, joints are scary tight (none stuck thank god), ankle movement honestly sucks, no stand.
Overall I like him though. I still wanna buy the Revoltech Warrior but it was £20 well spent.

I also got an old Kenner Mantis Alien for £8. He's godly.
