That's just the prototype. The final figure has diagonal-cut T-hips, knees, and ankles.

The shotgun is NECA's typical no-flexibility brittle plastic, so have some glue around for when the trigger breaks off. Ironically the glue holds the plastic together better than the plastic itself.

Don't hold your breath for that figure turning out as good as the proto, unlike Hot Toys they frequently fuck up their production versions. Recent victims were Nathan Drake and Snake Plissken.

Their Plissken turned out a little better, but still disappointing compared to the prototype. At least it could be fixed with a little paintwork and distressing of the clothing.

Moral of the story: don't buy Sideshow's own product until you've seen in-hand reviews.

There was actually a great Ash figure produced for Army of Darkness. 3 3/4ths scale and plenty of articulation. The likeness to Bruce is a pretty off but I loved it regardless. I sold mine off a few years back, unfortunately. You can find them on Ebay every now and again but it might cost you like $50
