For my nonexistent knowledge of photography, combined with the shitty 5 megapixel point-and-click digital camera I use, and the hour and a half I get to shoot at 2 in the morning, they don't look half bad compared to some pictures in here where people actually go outside to shoot in nice environments, or with DSLRs, or killer lighting set ups. At least to me. I don't mean to come off as 'everybody is wrong, I don't care, don't help me', I really do appreciate all the constructive criticism. I'm just saying, if I wanted to go outside, I'd find to go outside. If i wanted a better camera or lighting to take better shots with, I'd buy a better camera or lighting to take shots with. This is just a passing interest that I pretty much only pencil into my schedule when I should really be sleeping.

>>5275683Yeah I kind of botched the white balance on those pictures, so it was kind of a bad example, but from the bottom picture you can see that they produce two different kinds (or at least hues) of light. Pic related is an example of using the brighter light. It's something I wouldn't be able to light this well with the direct light.
