So what the hell even is the standard color of those super super short technic pins (the ones Umarak's smallest antler spikes attach to) anyway? I have seen them in blue on a lot of system sets, in gray on older sets and in the new Bionicle sets, but they are beige here, didn't lego want to standardize technic pin colors or something so they were easy to see or something?

I think the mask as it is probably looks fine, it is the exact same mask (though silver rather than black) as we saw him with in the original leaks, but the angle of the mask is especially awkward in this image, much like everything else in the image since it looks like the figures were posed by a blind six year old born with no hands.

The older leaks may have been the final versions of the sets, especially since they feature what appears to be the final CGI poses that will be put on the boxart (this is our first time seeing any boxart besides kopakas). We have a tendency to assume newer leaks are more recent versions of the sets, but even last year it was shown this is not the case (the current version of Tahu's mask appeared on his boxart in the very first colored display (though not on the display art itself), but the larger leaked images featured the prelim mask.

Not rushing things would be a nice change from this year's animations.

Decent production values, I'd be okay if they took inspiration from the better aspects of the Miramax films and stuff like the old flash animations. I liked the tone of those, they *mostly* knew when to be serious and epic and when to insert humor. Don't want this to be a goofy mess, nor a dry and generic action show that has no self-awareness.
Also a decent story and setting that gets you invested without having to look up shit in supplementary media (which the Miramax movies were very guilty of) or without the show having to spell out everything for you (as in the G2 book) would be nice.

Looking back, I'm liking the Miramax trilogy more and more. I used to hate those movies for a while, still dislike a lot of things from them, but they could have easily turned out way worse, and a lot of shit that we got later puts them into a more positive light.
