I know the Lion is a bit lacking but I love the robot, so aesthetics are good for me. Is it worth it knowing that, or are there some flaws functionally?

No, but the beast mode on the original design is pretty much organic Galeon without saber teeth.

Yes, there have been several complains of very loose joints, and a few reports of the waist breaking.

I had initially planned on buying this day 1, but after hearing the issues, I'll probably pass.

Yea... no problems with mine, but multiple people have reported it snapping at the waist. I was surprised when I saw the piece broken and it even looks fragile. Would be nice to see a company do a diecast replacement or something.

Honestly, I prefer the shoulder lion. There's probably a billion chest lion designs floating out there already, at some point one gets tired of every lion-to-humanoid transformation working the exact same damn way, y'know?
