Amazon is generally not the place to be looking because if you find anything there, it's more than likely going to be marked up quite a bit by a third party seller. Otherwise, anything that's not more on the newer spectrum is probably just best found on places like eBay, though you're gonna have to expect aftermarket price.
As far as the price tag goes.... Yyyyyyyep... That's third party TFs for you. Because these are made by smaller companies, they don't have access to the same production lines and can't afford the higher production runs that save larger companies like Hasbro and Takara money so they have to charge more. That and the fact that third parties tend to work in more complex and detailed engineering, more articulation, quality plastics, more paint apps, etc so the figures already come with a higher base cost. Unless you're going for the tiny Legends scale guys (which generally run around $20-30), you should be expecting to spend near $100 for a Voyager-sized figure and even some Deluxe-sized figures.
