>>5299923Same song and dance they did for GI Joe a few years back.
After three or four lines with fantastic articulation, accessories, paint, details, etc, they released the Retaliation line which featured cut articulation points, a bunch of accessories removed, and sneaking in a few 5 PoA figures in with vehicles.
Eventually, the Retaliation line started to evaporate at all retailers and GI Joe became a TRU exclusive.
It now remains there, getting a pitiful release in the 50th Anniversary line, which is nothing more than a handful of repaints and repackages, with no new figures in sight.
Oh, and also tons of 'Con and club exclusives that are like, $50 each for what amounts to $7 figures.
