because you can buy three stormtroopers (most of the time) for the price of ONE Japanese version, and they aren't a character that needs a super dynamic pose.
Sure, so far, Japan makes better droids, but that's only because the ONLY 6" droid done (so far, I hope) is IG-88, who is a statue in the movies, so, even though he HAS double jointed knees, it's kinda pointless for any human-type dynamic poses.
now truly droid-like ones, make him look broken, which is because of the design.
if SHF does a better run of jedi masters (and not the humans!) AND more droids, sure, they get to be the superior prequel stuff, but if Hasbro would do more jedi masters and droids, then we'd have a fair comparison.
so far, the black jedi luke is the only one truly comparable, (because vader is not one to be jumping and shit like he did as Anakin.) and the two lukes done are fairly evenly matched, one has nicer joints for more poses, one has a better Hamill face and hair.
