Funko Pop! Vinyl thread anyone? Last one got archived. Discuss your recent acquisitions or which series you'd like to see get made into Pop! Vinyl Figurine. Myself, I recently picked up the Ygritte figurine from Game of Thrones for $12 AUD which was good considering I can't really find it anywhere else. I'd like to get the Vincent and Jules figures from the Pulp Fiction collection and I'd also like to see some Fight Club, Indiana Jones, Mad Max or Die Hard figurines get made. Stannis from Game of Thrones is one I'd like as well. I need to find more space though.

Posting for curiosity I see these things all over the place now. I'm a wargamer so get the obsessive collecting of things, but what do you guys see in these weird disproportionate bobbleheads? They have released so many lines now it must be impossible to collect every single one, doesn't that annoy you as collectors? And they come and store in cube boxes, doesn't that take up a hell of a lot of space by the Tim you have 50/100+. They're not even interactive like Lego, or an action figure, they just sit there in the box. I have a NEET fb friend who spends his welfare cheques religiously on these figures then complains about not being able to afford food etc. it's obsessive Help me understand /toy/. Why?

Thinking of starting up a subscription box, mostly for pops. Which would you guys recommend for pops? It's a toss up right now between Lootcrate, Marvel Collector Corp, Smuggler's Bounty, and Pop in a Box.
Anonymous
>>5370703 If you are into Marvel or Star Wars I would get Collector Corps or Smuggler's Bounty. Lootcrate is ok, but doesn't always have a pop in it, so I would just subscribe to their newsletter or whatever so you know when to order the boxes that has a pop in them. Pop is a box is a cool idea idea and its cheaper than the others and you don't get any of the other crap, but its just pops you can buy in the store, not exclusives. So I guess it just it just boils down what stuff you are interested in the most.

So where do you guys find your exclusive variants and chases? I know there are wwalgreens, target, etc. exclusives. But where do you shop? I live in a town with a target, walgreens, hot topic, vintage stock and a couple local comic shops, but I can't really find any rare variants anywhere and I want to find them in stores instead of ordering them online if ever possible. I'm also moving to a small town with only one comic shop and shitty retailer selection, so I may be fucked, but I'll be an hour outside a major city tons of stores, I just need store selection.

I also like to shop at antique stores. One by me has a small vendor that maybe has like 10 pops at any given time. They are all 5 dollars each. Havent seen any super rare ones though. There used to be a gollum, but i think the owner pulled it the day the price spiked

holy shit, fucking CRINGE Just went to a few walgreens trying to find the new exclusives...Taskmaster, green goblin, etc... I walked to the toys, didnt see any, then started to walk out. I got stopped by the manager and she asked if I was looking for anything specific. I showed her a picture, because they never know wtf im talking about. This caused her to go overboard and call around to every store within 50 miles for me, painfully trying to explain to other managers what they were. She kept calling them star wars toys on accident. Good on her for trying to help me, but it was a bit overboard. People were walking by laughing and saying stuff like "jesus christ..." while she loudly says "YEAH, THE GREEN GOBLIN STAR WARS TOY". Fucking embarrassing for me even. Ended up not finding any

Some autists and crybaby manchildren raised holy hell on boards and cried to Amazon. Not ready for the backlash, they refunded the price of it plus you got to keep it. Then it got posted about what they did and even openers call Amazon to get refunds. Eventually they stopped it but someone who demanded a refund & keeping it threatened legal action because of all the posts of people who kept it. Amazon said they had an almost 80% refund rate on it and declared people were fray ding them after a while.
Needled to say, Amazon got a lesson in how scummy collectors are these days. Hell rip off Mattel just sent out sticker sheets for people to put on themselves after they had an incident where a He-Man Classic figure that was missing their sticker and the basement dwelling cry babbies bitched a fit.
