Hasbro sculpts = great
Hasbro paint = oh shit nigga, what are you doing
IT's part of the reason why i stopped buying MLs, or rather, became really really selective.
They still release some good paint work though, but it's usually just average
>Please stop good paint on a decent sculpt>No paint on a poorly molded great sculptYeah, no.
First of all, the molds are usually 99% identical to what the wax ones look like. Molding today is basically a perfected art that even bootlegged shit looks good.
Second, you can easily fix poor and averagely painted figures by adding your own paint. A poor sculpt requires way more work to ever fix and requires actual artistic skills.
That said, i rarely buy poorly painted figures, even though i've been painting models for two decades. When it's just spotty QC? I just pick one that doesn't have poor paint apps.
>Also Hasbro never poses a damn figure before putting it to market. They do all the time. Like with most western companies, they just believe in better sculpts over poseability.
