>SkylandersMost of the Skylanders games are pretty fun, there's a few laughs to be had but it's painfully obvious the series is geared towards children. There's a large adult fanbase but there's no jokes that'd go over kids heads or anything like that. It's been described as a "kiddie version of Diablo" mostly a smash em up + puzzle solver game. Figures add a new character you can play as; more figures means each one is a "life" although unless you're playing on Nightmare mode you shouldn't need any more than one character per level.

Haven't played them on Mario party at all because I heard it was shit and no one in my group of friends has it.
Haven't used shovel knight yet.
I can't speak for Infinity or Dimensions, but the games look fun, its just that I've decided to spend my shekels on the two i've chosen instead of bankrupting myself on all the TTL games and figures.

Chibi Robo's game was pretty mediocre, might be good on a sale
Amiibo Festival is hot garbage, don't get it unless you really love the series and have a lot of friends who enjoy shit party games.
