>>5417225After their fight with Baxter Stockman's Mousers, they went home to find their lair destroyed, and Splinter missing.
They went looking for him and never found him. Turns out, during their fight, a few Mousers tracked their way tothe Turtles lair, and attacked Splinter. He fought, got beat real bad, and escaped them. Wounded, he wandered in the sewers for a while, until he passed out.
The Utrom (the original species krang is based off of) were doing patrols and removing any pests that could interfere with their equipment or some shit like that, and they found Splinter. They were going to kill him because they just figured he was a giant rat. He spoke to them, and then passed out again.
He woke up in a strange building, and found he wasnt being guarded. He tried to escape the Utrom base, but was still weak, he collapsed, and the Utrom placed him in that tube.
So... turtles still cant find splinter, but during one of their night patrols, they find the TCRI building, and since they knew the mutagen tank that made them the tmnt was from TCRI, they broke in and thats when they (after weeks) found Splinter in this tube. So they where shocked/happy/surprised that they finally found him. They tried to save him, but got attacked by the Utrom, and during the battle, fell into a transporter and got warped to another planet in another galaxy.
In the end, it turns out the entire thing was a huge misunderstanding. The Utrom are stupid as fuck, and consider everything a threat to their well being. Splinter wasn't a captive, They where actually healing him, and that tube was a life support system while they fixed him up. After he awoke, they asked him some questions, and found out that the turtles where actually okay dudes, and would help the Utrom return home.
TMNT goes 0-60 pretty god damn fast... like one minute they were fighting ninjas, and the next minute they were traveling in space with fugitoid.
