I've been out of the loop for a long time. I don't even know what Nexo Knights is. It just said I'd get a free thing with my order. Seeing as I'm starting my collection from scratch again, I think I'd rather have the snowman. I figure those bricks would be more useful.

Back on topic, no one ever answered me. I bought a sealed Vaders Tie fighter. What are the chances that it may have one of the chrome Vader figs in it? I know there was like 10k of them randomly inserted in those sets.

I know that, but is there anyone out there trying to keep track of them? I know theres sites for that for the Mr. Gold figure, and ive seen that done for other rare things.

Thanks Anons. I'm gonna pick up the set later today and I'll post it as I go / when I finish. Been out of the Lego world for a long time, although I did pick up the exo suit set because its /m/. I picked these two smaller car sets a few days ago and saw the F40 on the shelf.

They're alright, I've only got the smallest one and the Batmobile there, but I like both quite a bit.
The smaller one is pretty cheap and has a nice little platform thing, it's mostly a "play feature" type set, with the Bat-Signal thing shooting out, part of it intentionally breaking off, stuff like that, but you get two basically exclusive figs with Armored Bats and No-Boots Supes
The Batmobile depends on if you like the look of the car itself or not. I personally love how the set came out and how slim it is, though the doors were so tight that they broke the back of it apart the first few times, and Bats doesn't sit too securely inside for me. The Kryptonite forklift is nice enough, a bit weakly connected for the "break apart" gimmick, but neat enough.

"Minifigure Monday" is a new thing at the Lego Store where you bring in your extra minifigs and trade them.

The pic I posted before is the results from a few Chima extras and some extra Bartmans.

Take a baseplate, fill it with minifigs holding their arms up. Take another baseplate, and set it on top of them, and fill it with minifigs doing the same. Keep stacking until you run out of figures.

Jewelry drawers and fishing material containers work well.

If you use Bricklink and keep the little crack baggies many sellers like to put their bricks in, they can be useful for organization.

Organize parts by type, not color.

nice, that's the way lego is meant to be played with.
as for storing solutions, some people use cabinets with loads of tiny little drawers like for tools and such.
I use pic related, little suitcases with with rearrangeable segments in them for specific parts. A tub for bricks and bags with wheels in them.(from my childhood i have literally over a hundred fucking wheels) A small closable container for cloth pieces like skirts and sticker sheets so i don't lose those.

That's pretty much it.

That's the reason i chose these suitcases, they snap closed pretty tightly and are very movable. And if you drop one on the floor your shit will not be everywhere if you routinely close them up when working with them.

If you want you room to be constantly awash with lego bits as the boxes bust open, by all means!

At least get the ones with the big hinge locks. Otherwise, plastic organizers with moveable dividers from Home Depot are great for minifigs.

I have a couple of Lego cases, too, which came with baseplates that I bought on sale.

Each of these Husky 22" Cantilever Organizers are $30 USD, same as the Husky 22" Tool Boxes at Home Depot.
Both are great because they share the same size of bit for their tops, stake together, and lock closed when you bring up the carry handle.

I also use them to prop up my Backdrops...

These are only two, the top and the bottom, so they're easier to deal with...
Biggest pain is how easy it is for everyone, including Home Depot, to mix up the Toolboxes and the Organizers, since their nearly identical in construction save for the bottom bin.
Toolboxes just have a large empty cavity (great for storing large sets) while the Organizers have a dozen larger bins.

Both characterisations is mostly simple and exaggerated as expected for all ages series from Lego.
The plots as far it is now Nexo is the simpler one. But lets wait till more episodes aired.

The differents between both are:
Chima is about rivalry and friendship. More like a games of throne mood.
Nexo is about cavalry and perception. Its more like Excalibur saga.

They were too Lego Star Wars like.

What I do is I use the towball axles for legs. They add slightly more room than the normal male mixel joints, owing to how they connect to axle holes. Very useful and allows for a lot of movement, including inwards.

In your initial setup, using these joints would provide more freedom of movement than the ones you have already established.

really? the only ones i think you HAVE to get are the minifigs with dive, as there are a few challenges that require some other ability to be used underwater (i.e gollum for boomerang and dive or cyborg for lazer and dive). a lot of other things can be cobbled together from a subset of figs + vehicles. the exclusive abilities are a bitch though, aquaman's atlantis, unikitty's rainbow bricks, etc. they are necessary a disproportionate amount of times compared to their availability.

Parts finally came to extend my First Order Transporter! Very happy with the result, it now seems much more of a force to be reckoned with.

Also added two gun turrets to give it more of an edge and continue on the gunship/higgins boat feel I get from it.

the real problem is WHICH hat
wizard and burglar would work, the space one most likely wouldn't

its similar to how the batman faces work
with his cowl on, his "eyes" are his white headband/top of the blue
with it off, they're much much lower

for the most part though, alot of hats would work, the cmf and sauron head is pretty centered

Here's a bigger version, though it is quite JPEG-y.

I noticed that it's missing the original Yoda minifigure and the 2008 Death Star fleshie Ben Kenobi. The pictures are also inconsistent on whether they include a Jedi's lightsaber.

This bothers me a lot. Anyone else see stuff missing/wrong with the poster?

"Padme Naberrie" is last in the third row. Remember, this was (supposed to be) all the minifigs from 1999-2009. There have been only 5 Padme minifigs, and 4 of them were released after 2011.

Been playing a ton of dimensions and I fricken love the submarine builds in game. They are minifig scale in game but with the real world counterpart it is small scale. Pic related it is a super comfy little ship.

There are specific hub worlds that have large amounts of water like DC, LOTR and chima. There are also small lakes and that kind of thing in some levels but other then that it is rarely used.

Depending on the world yes. Because of the way it works you need to have a figure from that speciffic world so say if you wanted the ghostbusters world you would need to own slimer,staypuff or venkmin. If you only buy the base game you will only have access to three worlds which are DC,LOTR and the lego movie.

but he has the shitty hinge arms, boring stump hands, legs with one direction of articulation (chainsaws are known for doing the splits obviously) and a fucking hinge mouth
they added ball joint mouths two waves ago, and he would be so much better with one

not counting his face decoration is loose as fuck, and they put some random white block inside his head, visible from the back

he just lacks emotion. in fact, if you took away his jumper plate eyes, he couldn't emote at all

he went from first place to last fucking instantly
