Gave more figures a dark wash this time symbiotes and absorbing man. Absorbing mans body has a ton of sculpt that was hard to see before the wash. the photo doesnt do toxin justice and he looks great with a black wash. anti venom didnt notice all the sculpt work

I'm pretty sure Miles was on the leaked spidey legends list for a while back that pretty much called all of the absorbing man wave, I'd just wait to see if that along possibly with a new teen male buck gets revealed. Since a "Peter Parker" fig was also on the list I'm assuming it'll be ult pete and they're gonna try and get their moneys worth out the mold right away by using it twice. Most likely in a shared "Ultimate Spider-men" packaging I'd assume.

Nah, it was a longshot but I figured maybe new hands would help him out. I'd skip him if you don't need the BAF part though, he's really weak. Ghost rider's pretty great though, probably the best use of an already good mold.

I can safely say I'm skipping the next wave, on that note. I'm kind of glad too, it feels like I ended up with more than half the figures from every wave in 2015. It'll be good to sit one out before whatever they do for civil war.

Yeah well that Wal-Mart was literally the only place that had them, from what I discovered after quite a while of hunting around. I even came across a Superior Venom. I know there's some from the toybiz days but theyre so outdated.. and the colors they used were pretty dull/dark for what they were suppose to be.. I got the Marvel Universe Box set, and they look nice, but the scale those figures are in isn't doing it for me.

the whole back of the head is gone leaving no hair in the back side. if you see how tiny the mask head is you can tell how little room there is in the hood in the first place.

Just got a Gwen in from Amazon. Not real thrilled.

The masked head has a weird slice cut around the mouth. Hard to notice when you're not looking up close. Also the white on the left upper arm is looking a little dirty/yellowish.

Not a huge deal since I don't really care for the character but still disappointing.

Hey, guys. I was silly and bought a broken scorpion figure from Ebay, without realizing it was broken until after I paid. The figure itself is fine other than the broken neck peg. I was able to scrape any of the glue from his body, but am unsure how to attach his head again to retain articulation.

I know before he broke he could not look up. I would enjoy swivel left and right as well as maybe some downward articulation. Can anyone help me out with this?

I posted in the custom general but know not everyone frequents that and was hoping you guys had some ideas.

Looks like a short dowel near the diameter of the neck hole could do the trick. Just clean the remaining glue from the head hole, cut the dowel to size, fit, glue to head or neck hole, and VOILA! You have a Scorp who can turn His head.

I don't the the plastic used in the upper hips is the same as the kind used in the legs. Heating doesn't cause it to become soft. Basically you'll be better off just buying a new figure or learning to live with the loose leg joint.

Really wish they had a more overdone or cyborg styled option, but they are either the wrong size or simply too much.

It has to be around $25-$30 us, and the more weapons I can deploy without needing to swap parts, the better.

I don't care about seeing the human inside, if i really wished to see it, I can photoshop another figure or swap the head myself.

It's a pretty nice set! A lot of reused parts and random bits thrown in, but...hey at least they included shit. Rocket's my favorite head sculpt, Groot's the BAF but with a pretty nice, scary head...

I don't feel too bad about paying the $100 for it. All the extra hands and heads help make it worth it.

I just got my bootleg 7 inch ironman today. The one that comes with the RDJ head as well as the infinity gauntlets. It's actually a great figure. The headsculpts are good too, along with awesome open, and fisted infinity gauntlets that you could put on any figure.

Heres where I bought it from. There are some scratches here or there (one on its left hand) as well as the paint comes off of the joints (They are the same color as the armor, so it doesn't matter.) The head and gloves are great. Actually decent quality/articulation.

I think they either slip over the fisted hand, or replace the hand all together. I had more luck getting it to stay on replacing the hand. It's just a clear space in the hand that you slide whatever into. That's why I said I think it'd work for almost any figure (Size depending.

I am sorry for the poor picture quality. Phone pic/bad lighting. I wanted to get everything in one photo. You can see both the naked head, as well as the faceplate removed head. (Comes with a faceplace loose, as well). You can see the empty area for a hand in the fisted gauntlet.

He also comes with fisted hands to replace the open repulsor hands.

I gotta say, I'm very happy with Speed Demon and Beetle. Morbius pissed me off because he has some weird mark under his head and he can hardly move his legs outward. Venom is very mediocre, but I was expecting that. Ben Reilly is great as usual. I can only put Jack O' LAntern looks creepy in nearly all his poses I put him in, so I'm happy about that. Absorbing Man is cool, but I can't really pose his legs well. Overall a fair wave, not really great, but pretty alright. I haven't bought Gwen yet, but I will later on.

tl;dr in my honest opinion:
Ben > Speed Demon = Beetle > Jack > Venom > Morbius = Absorbing Man
Don't have Gwen, but I'd probably put her towards the end.

It's just not the same without Shocker and Overdrive.
Also, I only have 4 of them, and I'd probably rate them pretty similar, but I love Speed Demon more than Beetle since he's more posable and has that amazing smug face. Beetle's sculpt is great though. I love Ben because he makes for a super posable Spider-Carnage. And Jack looks great, but I really wish he had the new leg joints so I could pose him on his broom easier.
