I've been collecting for almost 5 years now, and I've had my "fuck" moments of that's a lot of shit. I've got around 160 figures now, and only enough shelf space to properly display 50-60, so I rotate every few months. With vidya, I used to play a fuckton, but in the last couple of years I've been getting burned way too often on spending 60 bucks on a game that disappoints, or shit that I only play with my friends. Even years later though, I still enjoy my toys. An import figure around 40 bucks that's a constant display piece has become worth so much more than a 60 dollar game I barely play.
But if you still love vidya, more power to you. Just know that there's many ways to enjoy toys, even if you're not messing with them at that moment in time.
