>>5469841>Is it better than the SHF Batman? They're completely different Batmen, so they're kinda hard to compare.
The Mafex is a good figure overall, with a few downsides, mostly to do with articulation.
Here's a rundown of my experience with the figure:
>Sculpt and paint apps are solidThere's a nice carbon fibre look on his armor and the gold belt is very nicely done.
>The wired cape is greatExcellent for dynamic poses, and looks good even though it's cloth.
>Decent articulationNothing crazy, his shoulders can be a little loose at times.
One of the knees on mine has loosened over time.
>wrist pegs are retarded in design, and very fragile. The right one on mine snapped so I had to replace it with a Revoltech joint of a similar size.
It's now sturdier and works even better that it did originally.
>no bicep/elbow/gauntlet swivelJust a minor personal gripe of mine.
>heads can be kinda loose at timesI only really notice this when swapping them out or posing him.
>boot/toe articulation keeps pointing upwards making him hard to balanceThis really pisses me off, so much that I've wedged a piece of blue-tac in the seam to keep his god damn feet flat.
I never use the toe articulation so I'm half tempted to super glue it.
>trigger hand struggles to hold his grapple gun and EMP rifleCould probably fix this with a bit of heat but it's still annoying.
I'd give him a 7/10 overall, if you want a good 6 inch Bale Batman, this is pretty much your only choice.
