I despise how they sculpt these base bodies, the muscle definition is getting ridiculous.
I want to say it looks like a naked ripped dude with his clothes painted on, but the truth is that's not even true. Not even actual skin has that kind of muscle definition. Nothing looks like that. NOTHING. I know it's based off comic characters, who have a reputation of being impossibly buff, but 90% of the time it's nowhere near that ridiculous looking.
The best looking Marvel Legends have been have mostly been ones that don't have one of these crazy base bodies, like TWS Cap, Marvel Now Cap, Nova, Ghost Rider, Comic Star Lord. Granted not all the figures with original sculpts look great, but I think that's mostly because shitty paint jobs.
