I'm thinking of taking the plunge on some of those Cobi WW2 tanks. Like this Panzer IV

the exchange rate looks great if I'm reading this right. If you get it off the cobi site it is like 38 euro. On Allegro is it like 20 euro. That is almost half the price.

But I have no experience with allegro and getting polish people to mail anything to the US.

They're really solid. Minifigs are pretty bad, but nice weapons.

20-30 quid per tank.

That's 400-600 pieces, depending on the tank.

meanwhile a Lego A-Wing is less than 200 pieces for the same price.

It pisses me off that there's an actual legit distributor of Cobi here in New Zealand but they don't actually carry anything I want. The only German tanks they even have are the Panther and the Tiger II. No Panzer IV, no StuG, no Jagdpanther.
