The worst thing about Age of Ultron was that it denied us a quality Ultron design. Instead we got that shitty anorexic Megatron knockoff.

Will we ever see a proper Ultron of good quality, /toy/?

Wasn't this discussion already going on in the Deadpool thread?
At least with this I understand where you're coming from since the original Ultron has very few good toy renditions, but really, don't discount the movie design's toys as objectively shit just because you don't like the design.

In the Deadpool thread it makes no sense because the movie costume is the same fucking thing. The only thing that ever changes with his costume is where some of the black patches are or whether his mask has that saggy bit at the top.

Pretty much this. The only thing I can really harp on it over is the lack of wrist hinges and the older style sphere hips. But fuck, it's a robot, sphere hips might even make sense.

Really, the only good thing about the movie was Ultron's design.
I have no idea why you people expected a muscular metalman from the same series that turned the iron man suit from literal power rangers thighs and a tiara into an actual exo-skeleton.
Metal just doesn't bend like that.

Iron Man's armor had long since stopped being like that in the comics by the time of the movie. In fact one the comic artist who redesigned the armor for the comics did the first few movie designs,too.

I want a serious "Build a Ultron" line. Not Hero Smashers or a BAF. Rather packs of
x1 torso
x2 heads
x3 legs
x2 forearm weapon replacements (blade or gun)
x2 shoulder armor
x2 pipping

It's completely in Ultron's theme to scavenge parts. Iron Man or Sentinel. Maybe even make Doom-Bots.

A person could make a squad of custom baddies to go against any team.

Whattaya think?
