Mafex are in some dead zone quality-wise. Slightly better than domestic figures with often amazing sculpts and passable paintwork, but nowhere close to SHF or Figma quality assembly, engineering and materials-wise.
It's a roll of the dice if they'll have upped their game for the future releases, but this is Medicom we're talking about. Quality has never been their strong suit, I don't think I know a single 1/6 collector who hasn't had issues with their figures over time, be it fragility in the joints and bodies, right the way up to clothing and accessories straight-up rotting away and disintegrating. They're really cheap on materials and QC, yet try to charge top-dollar prices.
