First thing for getting good poses is understanding the characters you're posing and putting them in a pose that they would conceivably do on their own. Obviously if you're just having fun and not trying to mimic pose form the source material then this isn't that big of a deal but it helps when it comes to putting together a display of character from the same source.
Next lines of movement, how the body moves and flows through the actions you're trying to portray with your poses. Reference images are a great way to learn how bodies move and do certain actions.

As far as I can tell, Marvel is pandering in their actual comic runs now, especially with another fucking Secret Wars and all the waifu solo runs/one-offs. They care more about their up and coming 'fake geek teenager' market coming in from their movies.

I seriously don't understand Marvel.
If they want to reel in and keep the movie public reading their comics so much, why not just make something simple and accessible that works like the movies instead of churning out entire runs of literal fanservice while shitting on the fans that always bought their comics?
They are only losing a safe niche to get a new casual market that won't care about them once another pop culture fad pops up.

Post-Rage of Ultron anything is either pandershit or meant to piss people off.
The movies are really the only decent quality content they put out anymore.
Deadpool was a good movie but the comics have been shit for a while now because writers don't seem to really understand his character past "Token Memer".

I miss this era of Marvel. Ultimate universe was still good. Lots of other books were aiming at telling compelling stories that built up the character and felt like their story was culminating to higher points.
