There have been many thread made about these things on /toy/ the past few months. Most get about seven replies and die. I think they look like toys for pets. Something you would get a dog to play with.
They are cute and I wouldn't mind have one or two but when I look at them I can't see myself paying more than $2.99 for one. They sell for $6 at Disney Stores which is jaw dropping to me but to each there own. They are kinda cute I guess but I just don't see they appeal. This comes from a Major Disney collector fanatic by the way.

Yeah, the pricing is a little excessive but collectors will spend anything. I'm finally starting to see the absurdity of it and will only be buying exclusive tsums or seasonal/holiday ones. In hope some will be worth more in the future.

please dont spread lies. cashiers always talk about the kind of shit people buy in the break room all the time.

ive worked at 2 different toysrus before and i almost always hear stories about the regular shoppers. sometimes good things, mostly bad.
most common ones i hear of are about lego shoppers.

but yeah, you really shouldnt care what some high school drop out thinks of what you're buying but they do in-fact talk about you when you leave the store.

Yes they do. My dog in fact, picked one up even though I didn't leave it somewhere where I'd normally leave her toys. I think a good deal of them are cute, albeit overpriced. Also doesn't work so well for human characters.

Yes I have Duffy and Shellie May both. I love them. They're such nice, quality bears and I love their cultural significance to DisneySea a lot. I find it fascinating. This fall I took 3 adults who had never been to Disneyworld on a whirlwind Food and Wine-Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party-Osborne Lights crash trip and in return they purchased both bears for me. Shellie May goes to Disneyland in March and Duffy goes to Disneyworld in July this year. Travel buddies.

Thats a really nice set up anon. Awesome job on Rapunzel! I wish I had that kinda talent. That Cogsworth is really cute and I wish I could ad him to my collection. I have one that kinda looks like him. Hes a Cogsworth clock that works which I got in 2010 when the Blu-ray was released at the Disney Store along with the other two characters. I had to pawn off a real gold item at the mall just to be able to afford them all.
