So by the end of the month I'll be joining the ranks of the working class, and finally having expendable incomd has got me pretty excited because I've always wanted to build a nice figure collection but haven't really beenable to.

But then I see "post your collections" threads on this board and it just blows me away how much money you guys seem to be spending on toys, and it gets me pretty depressed because I know I'm not going to be able to blow that much money on a collection, at least not any time soon.

But surely you guys aren't all NEET millionaires, right? How the actual fuck do you guys amass such huge collections? Are there some tricks to finding things cheap I don't know about, am I grossly overestimating the prices of figures, or what? I've got an ongoing list of about 20-30 figures I'm currently interested in grabbing once I start getting paid (granted some of these are possibilities for friends' birthday presents) and I'm a little afraid to start calculating how much those alone will run me in total.

So I guess this is the babby's guide to buyfagging thread, any advice at all would be really appreciated, whether it's about price reduction or just general experience. Pic related, the only 4 toys I currently own (discounting a few lost LEGO, Bionicle, and some general junk sold off in a garage sale a few years back)
