Why is bandai just making godzilla when they can make any other monster and not have to compete with NECA, especially after NECA nailed it with their 54 Godzilla? Why don't they make Orga, Monster X, Kaiser Ghidorah, Anguirus, or even branch out to other franchises? Not trying to start a bandai vs neca war, but from a business standpoint it doesn't make much sense to me.

One must admit that the msrp for GMK godzilla was pretty blown up in price compared to his web exclusive brothers. Both Godzilla 2000 SC and Godzilla 2014 spitfire weren't as much as GMK And the latter of which had accessories. GMK godzilla was closer to first release Kiryu's initial price, the figure that came with jet packs and arm bands and die cast.

I can afford any godzilla toy I want, it's a matter of whether or not I think it's worth the time and money. I'll wait and see from video reviews if GMK is actually worth it, and 54 might be worth it because I want to support more Showa releases. Unless he's a small guy like 64, in that case I'll pass

yeah the Neca one just looked off to me and I couldn't quite place it until I saw this. Neca's is to bloated.This is a bit off in some areas, but its much better overall. I'd rather spend more for a better figure than settle.

Welcome to Godzilla poorfags general. In most any other thread saying you think the Toys R us option over the import is a beter figure would get you laughed at, and at least people will admit that the American version is just settling. But here people are trying their hardest to justify their cheapness.

Imagine saying the Legacy Power ranger figures are better than the Figuarts. Or the Black Series is better than MAFEX or SHF star wars.

In all fairness, the dub wasn't Sony, that's just Toho sending them to Hong Kong to get basic English dubs meant for Asia.

Sony's problem was not even doing proper subtitles, and just using the dub script for their subs.

But yeah, either get the Ultra-act Renewal or wait for the Figuarts. I'd say Ultra-act because the hips on the Figuarts look kind of dumb, especially since he has that silver lining down his legs.

Guys, I have a super rare Zilla puppet from 1998. I know Zilla is looked at as a bastardization, but it's still a really rare item. There were only 2500 made, and I can't find a single listing for it on any auction site. There were a bunch of hand puppets made, but this one is different in that it doesn't have a hole in it's ass. It's 36 inches of zilla.

The one in the pic isn't mine, but it's the only one I could find on the internet. Mine doesn't have the box stand or anything, just the doll.

So my question is, how much would a kaiju/Godzilla fan pay for this thing in decent condition?

Well, I do. I don't want to buy something when it says it's "new" and then I get it and it could be trashed. Yes, the price was dropped, but Amazon does that all the time. And in this case, there was nothing about 'repackaged' or 'damaged packaging' like on some of the deals they do.

Essentially I don't want this to become a habit of theirs.

This is as good a picture as I can get. That's a penny for rough scale.
It's just incredibly cheap. The bag was also misleading as far as its size. I wouldn't recommend getting these, but if you really want them just know I thought $4 was a bit much from my LCS. Paying more ot going through the hassle of online ordering would have just increased the butthurt.

This probably sounds stupid, but I'm glad this board and threads like this exist. Even though fights break out like Creations vs. Japan, or NECA vs. Monsterarts, at least it's not a mob mentality and people on here just like kaiju stuff.
