i can get this figure for $50 used in good condition, i have one already but its ankle broke which i managed to fix. should i bother grabbing another?

You just need the figure, or a broken one that has a good ankle so you can swap it out. I say wait for a loose version with no accessories to pop up.
I actually have one i'd gladly sell you if I ever dig it out of my toy bin.

Not realy. But I'm not a Spawn fan. It's one of those characters that is kind of cool but the edgy tryhard fanbase makes me hate him.

Well OP you already have the figure so you already know if you like it or not so the decision is yours. Personally I bought my new in box version for 20 bucks or so and love it, didn't even know it was rare until later.

Uh... does this mean all my MIB Todd Toys Spawn action figures from the 1990s are going to actually be worth something?

I got burned in the Great Comic Book Crash of '93, but for some raisin I held onto the Spawn guys.
