How do you guys talk about toys to other people without coming across as a sperg? I have tried everything and can't pull it off.

>Notice a pretty attractive girl checking out the lego minifigure collection
>want to speak to her about my collection
>think of an ice breaker so I don't seem like a sperg walking over and talking about lego
>go to the produce section
>get some figs
>run back, she is still there
>throw a fig on the floor next to her to get her attention
>she turns
>throw a fig into the air and catch it and say 'you like mini figs? I love fruity figs'
>she looks like I fucking shot her son or something and walks off
