Also I'm thinking REALLY long and hard about getting this set.... But I only want the Bone Viking and maybe that Azure Soldier

Anyone else want to break up the set with me?

I'm only considering the entire set because it's simply not that much more expensive for 4 more figures -- but admittedly I really just want the two trolls and the Viking.

What is the likelihood of there being fucking awesome accessories that are added later? Some of those figures I hate but if they come with cooler stuff after the fact....

Anyone with 4Horseman experience to enlighten me on what to expect? How much more do they really add?

Some figures have had alternate heads/weapons. One of trolls is supposed to have at least one more weapon, for example.

That would also require a cauldron.
Hands and other accessories are possible but not that probable atm (after all, people bought them with what they had shown already). They are making accessories/weapon packs and you can exchange parts between figures.

It's just the Templar and Stone Troll for me. It was tough deciding between the two, but in the end I feel like stony wears the body better. As for the knights, the rest of them didn't interest me that much. Man I wish at least some of those Toy Fair reveals were included in this wave. WHEN WILL IT BE THE BOAR'S TIME, HORSEMEN!?

Expect each figure to come with three weapons, a belt with loop to hold one weapon,two pauldrons, even if they only have one intheir pic and whatever head ornament they have in their pic.

The green troll is also going to come with a spiked club, which is not shown in his pic.

It's not so much they"ll add tons of accessories, but rather they comewith stuff not pictured on the store.

The Ghost figure probably won't be released until either sometime this summer or he may part of the next Kickstarter. Personally, I'd rather wait for them to use that ghoul head on a different figure so we can see it all painted up.

I ordered Pixxus the spartan dude and Godfrey. It's as close as i can get to the silver knight from the first wave i missed and an interesting enemy. Hoping to have a dark souls style setup on my desk.

Pic related, an anon posted this and i was jelly as fuck. Just needs a bonfire, which i can make.

The Silver Knight shouldn't be too hard to grab once they come out in April/May, I can only assume a figure that popular would have a lot of extra stock.

Honestly, I'm really hoping they keep at least the troop builders stocked up. Especially if they plan on doing smaller run releases like this 1.5 wave, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to also add some older figures to the runs as long as they still sell.

I have two in hand, from the hips up, they're decent. Large ball joints in the necks and abdomens for great range of motion, universal joint shoulders, though the pauldrons can get in the way if you leave them on. The only real issues are the not-deep-enough elbow bend and the wrist hinge going in/out instead of going up/down.

From the waist down, they're pretty fantastic. Full range of motion in the hips and the faulds/skirts don't hinder movement at all. Knees give a nice 90 degree bend and there's both thigh and calf swivels. And the Ankle joint is just amazing, as you can pretty much get it flat footed no matter what stance you put them in.

They're not the *best* articulated figures, as they can't really two hand swords which is a shame, but they are really good figures with a lot of great pose-ability and a ton of personality from it.

I am really trying to love these trolls because it's amazing to get any sort of creatures in any scale but having actual trolls is next to spectacular.

Problem is, they just don't seem to have the articulation... Less than 90degrees on the elbow, no torso joint and nothing at all in the legs. They look like they're 9 POA and I am having a hard time convincing myself they're worth it. Their one redeeming quality is the after market price if I don't like them.

No, they're 1:12, but they were originally pitched as 1:18 scale so the could have swappable heads, limbs, and giant sized mounts.
MotU fans bitched, so they switched to the larger scale and took away alot of features, including better articulation for the larger s caled figures.

I think it's because they wanted their lines to be cross compatible and something to do with engneering, probably because heavier limbs would fall out.
Which is likely why the trolls won't be as articulated either, since they're heavier and finer articulation would be more likely to break and become really loose.

Those Power Lords are 1:18 scale and they used T-Hips. Great designs, but man, they lacked in articulation. The newer ones they have planned will have much better articulation.
