I myself plan to display Yugi with the god cards, as well as Dark Magician, and Dark Magician girl, but thats about it, because of the lack of affordable/good looking Dual Monster figures.

Granted, if I could find 3 of the Blue eyes mini statures, I'd totes get a Kaiba revo just to display with those.

I've thought about how I would display cards and I wonder how tacky something like pic related would be. I've had a photo holder similar to the one of the left but you would have to do something with the teeth of the clamp so it wouldn't damage the cards.

i second this. i got the models of the god cards when i was a wee lad, and damnit they were awesome. theyre not the normal plastic that most models are either, theyre like a thicker rubber. if you can find them for cheap definitely pick them up.

i also remember an old toy line did most of the basic cards like summon skull, gaia the fierce knight, and blue eyes. i remember those being pretty good too

I still have mine but I'm missing a couple of the legs and the base. Not bad all things considered though. Would be nice if it was 100% complete but only being short two legs isn't the worst. I had Obelisk too but no idea what happened with him. Never had Ra or the Exodia and Blue-Eyes Ultimate models they also did.

Not OP, but I'm thinking of a display myself.
I was thinking about picking up that Revo Dark Magician and Figma Dark Magician girl to go along with it, and have their cards standing behind them like they were being summoned (Might even throw in Kuriboh because I have that NECA) but my "problem" is I don't know which versions of the cards to use.
mosty focused on Black Black Magician. Are they going to release that card variant or should I stick with The Anime version? Or the Green Version?

Op here is a display idea buy some of heroclix of yougioh they have very good scoulpts (better buy the starter pack comes with blue eyes and dark magician and 4 other monsters) after you finaly get the action figures of yugi or and kaiba you can put them like they are playing against eachother if you stand the cards up in front of the figures and in front of the cards you put the heroclix figures it looks like they are playing and the monsters are projected on the plaing field

Holy fuck, I was just searching for info on new products half an hour ago with hopes of a new collectors set with more nostalgic cards being announced and found about the new Kaiba and Yugi mega-tins with playable Obelisk/Slifer and new versions of Blue Eyes and Dark Magician, but this is waaaaaay better! New Exodia Pieces? The three PLAYABLE Gods? Blue eyes and Red Eyes and many other Kaiba/Jonouchi classic cards? The magic cards based on the Dark Magicians attacks?

I bought the Legendary Decks set and loved it, and this is just what I wanted right now. Not really a player of Yu-Gi-Oh anymore, just want to own nostalgic cards from the show, so this is a dream come true.

I also REALLY need this set, even thought I just bought Yugis legendary deck set. Made the worlds most frustrating Exodia deck with that one.
I'm pretty excited about the Kaiba deck myself, because whe. I get Revoltech Kaiba I NEED those three blue eyes... And I've slowly started turning my dragons collide deck into a blue eyes deck...

It's understandable, they already gave us pretty accurate Yugi decks in the first legendary set, so they are going for something a bit different this time. And I also doubt you can build an actual deck of 40+ cards with just the ones Jonouchi and Kaiba use in the show, so the new support cards double as filler too.

I'm actually thinking of releasing them from their years of slumber so I can display them with figma Yugi when it arrives.

I just hope they didn't got fucked up in that box or something, they've been stored in an underground unit for years and it can get pretty hot in there. My DX model Exodia soft plastic chains are a bit sticky despite it being on display in my house, so I guess the gods could be in worse shape.

You can actually buy the ones that you see in the anime from ebay etc. Just look up "Orica" cards. Egyptian god orica cards, etc.

I'm after this tin for a display idea. I'm not after it sealed. I don't care about the cards. I literally want the tin container.

Does anyone have an old one that they don't care about? I've prowled both US and UK ebay (I'm in the UK) looking for some mother who is selling their kids lot and hoping the tin is part of it but no luck.

I actually saw one in a bundle like that for like £25 and i'm so fucking mad i didn't buy it at the time.

If anyone has one let me know. Cheers

I got yugi's legendary decks from walmart online for 30 bux a few days ago. Other places I saw were much higher. They call it a holiday box, but from what I can tell it's just legendary decks box, dont think there was anything called holiday box.

I'm just saying, an empty box still costs to ship because of its size even if it doesn't weight as much. If it'll be like more than 20 bucks shipped to get just the box and singles I want, I might as well just go hunting for the whole set at retail anyway.

oh a Yugioh general? seems like the best place to post this. I know Mattel made the Original series and GX figures way back when. Found this at a swap meet for a buck.
