>>5682232 They had to redesign that Iphone style box to include Dragreder with Ryuki. Also a regular SHFSS is now already pretty expensive with 6000 yen price tag, including Dragreder with Ryuki will make it around 8000-9000 yen.
So I don't think do, also the reason they include Dragreder with Ryuki in previous release is because they want to BTFO Max Factory with their Kamen Rider Dragon Knight Figma release (that actually sell like hotcakes before Bandai announcing SHF version.)
My guess is either the SS Ryuki will be compatible with previous release or they will redesign Dragreder as separate release. (like Ryuki Survive & Dragranzer case.)

Precure is on the decline, not even the Pink is general release these days. But Aikatsu has been surprisingly successful for how late the line is.
Kinnikuman was popular enough that they're moving into WWE now which could be good down the road.
Naruto and Sailor Moon are pretty stable.
Real individuals always seem popular too like Bruce Lee or Freddie Mercury
And they're trying new things. Ranma, Metal Heroes, Lupin, Digimon, Turtles, Love Live, Nintendo, Cardcaptors Sakura, even some DC heroes for Injustice. The line isn't only a few series.

Another event goes by with no Kiva. Can't wait to get the hype train rolling again for Tamashii Nations in a few months.
Anonymous
>>5687747 Kiva does not have any chance at being guaranteed an entry into SHFSS anytime soon.
The best predictable chance he has is if he takes the spot in the original SHF release timeline that his Emperor form took. That's after Faiz iirc, which is after W.
So that's some time from now, even without considering extra Riders from the shows that got releases in the SHFSS line that could be made like Kabuto.
At best, we have to wait until the Features this time next year because the Fall event could go to Faiz.
Anonymous
>>5687768 Looking at how W's PO sold out like crazy in day one, I wouldn't be surprised if they start to milking on W variants like what they did with Kuuga.
Every Shinkocchou that sells like a hotcake got milked with an extended forms or 2nd Rider release; Kuuga with Rising Mighty and Ultimate form, Kabuto with Gattack and soon Decade with Diend.

Just give us Accel, Skull, and Eternal. Maybe Joker by itself since that form is part of iconic character moments like Ultimate which I also accept. However that's it for me. There's too much good shit that needs SHFSSes right now to clog the production pipeline with this stuff.

In addition to more Agito/Hibiki probably getting held off, and those Rider heavy early Heisei series are hard to predict.

I think they have all looked cool (except Mugen who is not looking good here), but their ties to the story are so rushed and shitty. I doubt Mugen is gonna break that and be anywhere near on par with the previous final form reveals in post Decade seasons. All of them were great except for OOOs who made up for it in Tajador. Shotaro and Philip's disparity before Extreme, Gentaro's friends reviving him before Cosmic, Tomari's friends engaging in meticulous plan to unfreeze with a sick car exit scene. Even Wizard's was pretty nice though the "INFINITY"'s dragged a little too long.

>>5690905 I can relate but is $80 really your dividing line? Cause holy shit you're basically relegating yourself to retail releases and exclusives that don't sell. This might not be the hobby for you.

It's not like buying a retail release late, where people do literally overpay, this is outright what the figure costs through a middleman. Just depends on if that's worth it to you.

>>5690922 I'm totally okay with that. If more people had the good sense to skip all the overpriced exclusives we wouldn't get so many of them.
Anonymous
>>5690954 That's not how it works. The reason they're exclusive to begin with is so they don't lose money but still let everyone that wants one to be able to get one. If people didn't buy them they'd just stop making them.
Honestly it's a business model I wish western toy companies would take on instead of shit literally nobody wants.

>>5690964 >The reason they're exclusive to begin with is so they don't lose money You really have drunk the kool-aid, haven't you? That may be the stated reason, but with guaranteed sellers like SS Gattack and Ultimate Kuuga getting exclusive releases, it's pretty clear they just take those higher profit margins wherever they think the fans will swallow them.

>>5690969 Nigga they are built to order. Ultimate Kuuga is exclusive because he will never sell as much as base Kuuga did which was retail.

>>5690969 What higher profit margins? Exclusives aren't usually significantly higher-priced than retail items.
Western fans get the illusion that they are due to middleman and shipping fees, but these are made for Japan and only Japanese buyers matter.

>>5690984 A) they're significantly more expensive due to lack of a retail discount and
B) Bandai sees a lot more of the money because retailers don't take a cut. How much overhead do you really think there is in maintaining that web store?

>>5690972 Selling as much as base Kuuga isn't the target, since base Kuuga sold through two production runs and there's still enough demand to drive the price to pretty stupid levels. It would definitely sell more than Agito or Hibiki have, and a hell of a lot more than Rising Mighty will.

>>5690991 Lack of retailer cuts is a fair point, but are discounts really that much of a difference on paper? Suggested retail price still is what it is.
So from a Japanese buyer's perspective, they order a figure and have it delivered like anything else. There's no extra hassle, or any hoops to jump through as part of some elaborate Bandai conspiracy to screw over their customers.

>>5690878 He's $60 dumbass that is the normal price of exclusives.

>>5691056 We don't all live in Japan dumbass. The actual retail cost is irrelevant when the only way I can get it is to pay $80.
