Nowadays you have figures like the modern Thor that is basically more articulated than the Thor that Hasbro offered at the same time period (which granted is a RoML repaint) and the MS Hulkbuster has as many points of articulation as a standard humanoid ML.
But getting back to the topic at hand: the chief difference between MS MCU and ML MCU is that MS have double balljoint abs for more varying directional articulation versus the traditional crunch that ML uses, which is typically better for forward and back motion if not hindered. MS also prefers to use hinge-swivel elbows instead of double elbows, which has its own set of pro's and con's.
Adding to that the better quality sculpt and paint work of the MS, and the MCU releases are almost always better with them. Of course, you get 1/3 of the character selection, so that's a big strike against them.
