I check AmiAmi every night anyway, but the release was announced on the designer's twitter as well, I believe.

As far as I can tell it was only AmiAmi and HLJ that ever had him. HLJ says they will reopen orders once he is in stock if there are enough, but realisticly they are notorious for over-ordering and then canceling orders without warning so...

I could give a shit about her honestly. She's pretty bland in the comics and I don't follow her solo series. May pick her up if I find her in retail. But Ultimate Pete and Miles are pretty much all I want from this wave. I eventually need to do a villian setup but that's for another time. I already have like 5 or so figures on pre order.

Silk's solo is great. And this is coming from someone who hated her in Spider-verse. Slott's writing is awful, but Robbie Thompson is knocking it out of the park. The main artist is great too, but the replacement artist sucks.

You're arguing with a different person. The point of my original post is that Toybiz Hobgoblin looks better.

There are A LOT of characters where Hasbro did better. For example Black Cat toybiz is atrocious. One could even argue that Pizza spidey is better than muh McFarlane $200 Spidey.

I'll only buy Legends stuff it they're a significant upgrade to the previous iteration of character, like Morbius, Black Cat, or even the select Hulkbuster. I already have Toybiz Hobgoblin so I see no reason to buying this new one. Same deal with Electro. Might pick up Ultimate Spidey, but I don't care for the three amigos of literally whos

As I've said in previous threads, the joints are just as distracting as other figures. And in no way does it "ruin" the look of the figure. I'm from Toronto. This wasn't even 1/10th of his stuff. He had bins and bins of toys. I remember seeing a bunch of Lantern saga stuff, DCC stuff, some MOTUC, Mcfarlane, Ninja Turtles, older Toybiz Legends, newer Hasbro Legends, a bunch of other Selects, and a whole lot of Marvel Universe stuff. I'm mostly a 1/12fag so I didn't go for much of the Selects or Universe figures, and DCUC/DCC aren't articulated enough for my taste. I bought most of his complete BAF/CnCs, though. He told me that he had a grocery list of people wanting to meet up with him but I messaged him first, so I got first dibs. Took me more than an hour to look through all the bins and find what I wanted. Left a few gems for other people to find, but bought the obviously-not-worth-a-dollar stuff like the Deadpools and Jubilee. I immediately regretted that decision and messaged him to meet again, but he said he wanted to give other people a chance, which I completely understand.

I felt like I was dreaming when I was going through those bins and pulling out stuff like X-Force Warpath, Archangel, or the SHF Sailor Scouts, knowing they were all only $1 each. I've actually had dreams similar to this before only to wake up in disappointment. Not this time, I suppose.

overall as a spidy figure its second or even with the mcfarlane spidy. I own both and I prefer the new one since its has painted webbing but I grew up with the mcfarlane art so im honestly biased. both are great figures but spend what you feel comfortably spending.

im really excited for the ultimate spiderman as its the other spidy I grew up with. since the ultimate universe was new and I was at the age I followed the story all the way through.

I wouldnt spend 40 bucks on a pizza spidy Id say look on ebay for as long as you can for a cheap loose listing. but those new spidy molds after superior spiderman from the amazing spider man 2 wave are all solid.

Hi, I need some advice.

So this is my first build a figure and I think I may of fucked up on the hulk buster, the lower torso sides on its side when resting, I tried twisting it but it keeps popping back, and like a dumbass I didn't really study how pic related works, is it meant to rotate or did I nearly break him?

His chest isn't fully shut, but with only the back end of metal tweezers its not an easy task trying to separate the shell.

My final question isn't so much on the hulk buster but on one of the wave figures (its the age of altron wave btw), is there any reason why black widow has 2 holding hands but no guns other than the ones stuck to the sides of her legs?

I'm fine with her martial arts but seems odd

I just woke up from a nap, I meant to say the lower torso doesn't sit straight, that little silver detail keeps popping on a distinct angle to the side as if its not aligned correctly inside.

Why the hell can't they get these things (and the rest of the regular CW wave) onto shelves in time for a new movie? I know TV shows usually get their toys out on time but this is the first line of toys I collect that seems like they can't get figures out on time to match a movie promotion.

If it's a matter of old stuff shelf warming, why the fuck are there no sales. Knock those things down to $10 or less and they'll fly off the shelves.

I mean, BAFs are the one area where remold potental doesn't seem to apply. The only one in recent memory was ultimate gg from movie hulk, and I can't even think of a case of a BAF being reused again for a regular figure.

To be honest though, I don't really think it'd make for a great toy. The shoulders basically only work through taking artistic liberties, and the tiny chicken legs would be a problem

Well, there was all those villains escaping from The Raft at the start of Bendis' New Avengers back in 2005. And Spidey got an accompanying mini-series related to it titled "Spider-Man: Breakout". I never read either arc myself, but I can't imagine heavy hitters like Enchantress & Abomination being locked up at such a place. I think the former wasn't even alive at the time because of Ragnarok happening before in the Thor books.

The character selection is great IMO. It's got some really great classic villains in it. Enchantress alone makes the set worth it for me. I've been waiting since the beginning for Toy Biz/Hasbro to do one.

What is the best Captain Britain figure out there besides the toybiz one?

I am not too crazy about the character so not willing to spend $$$ for the seemingly superior toybiz.

There's the Marvel Universe which looks alright

Articulation is fine but it has the gummiest plastic I've ever encountered.
I also have the Toybiz one and its good but the anatomy is fucked. He's way to fucking huge.
There are rumors of a new one in an upcoming wave, I'd wait a few months to see if that's legit.
