So I know this has probably been discussed before, but is anyone else looking forward to these guys?

I was torn between Classic and .EXE, but I think that, since .EXE doesn't seem to come with any open/expressive hands, Classic will win it out for me.

I saw some promos for Hub Style .EXE and the preview shot for Dark Rockman.EXE-- what are the chances of one of them having open hands?

I only feel the need to own one 4-inch robot dude with the exact same body-type, so I'm waiting for Cut Man, he's always been my favorite.

Almost none will buy them. Best case scenario is to do a few of the fan favorites.

Or do most of them like Figuarts Zero but much cheaper statues in scale, since statues can be much cheaper than action figures.

I mean go back to the classic art and it's practically MOTU levels of reuse. The first six games, half of them have the same arms and legs. If you throw out 4-5-6, you lose a lot of the one-off torsos too.

No. In 1994 Bandai did a 5 inch line fir the Ruby Spears cartoon. They did, if I recall, Mega Man, Rush, Cut Man, Guts Man, and Bomb Man (who got pulled because of Timothy McVeigh). I've seen piectures of Proto Man, Snake Man, and Bright Man but I'm not sure if they were actually produced. Distribution on that line was awful, on par with the worst of TF or DCUC.

If they do it right, it could look really good. The clear parts on X's armor worked pretty well with the metal behind it. As long as it's got some type of texture and isn't 100% bare purple plastic, it'll be great.
