>>5758894My collection really seems to trigger you. Care to explain why? I mean, this is a collection thread, on a /toy/ forum, on an imageboard. You'd think seeing someone post a picture of their collection wouldn't rustle you so much.
Is there something deeper, though? Are you insecure about your own collection? If you are, then remember man, you collect for yourself and no one else. Don't be unhappy with what you have solely because you think someone else has something better. What others have doesn't define you. As long as you're happy with your setup, that's what matters.
Here are some tips for helping to build your character and overcome your self esteem issues:
1) Stay away from people who make you feel bad about yourself and your collection - The specific strategies for dealing with criticism would include minimizing the importance of these negative comments and possibly seeing them as a reflection of the other person’s own insecurities.
2) If you can do something well, let others notice - Even if it's not your collection, I'm sure you have a talent of some sort. Take pride in that and don't feel like you have to tear someone else down to make yourself feel better.
3) Don’t feel you have to go it alone. Seeking social support is one of the best ways to cope with stress of any kind.
In addition, I'm pretty sure you don't know what the word "Literally" means. Look it up.
And finally, I "literally" haven't posted my setup in the past 3 threads (4 if you count the one that only lasted a day before the mods got rid of it).
In the end, I hope you work out whatever it is that you have going on in your life, and remember that your collection (no matter how shitty other people say it is) should be good by YOUR standards. Please don't let me posting my collection in a collection thread on an image board trigger your autism. I feel pretty guilty about that. Just remember, you don't have to click the thumbnail and look at the image.
