There's this concept called Hedonic Adaptation, which basically means that no matter how nice of a thing you get, you will always inevitably become bored of it and want a newer, nicer thing. That's how I was with toys. I'd buy one, enjoy it, and then it was like "okay, I need a new one". So I got to the point that I had these toys that I didn't actually like, I just liked buying them. So I put them all away for several weeks, and after realizing that I didn't care that it had been 20 days since I saw them, it dawned on me that I never really liked them, I just liked buying them, so now I'm selling them.
I don't want to sound like a downer for you toy fans out there, just saying that you have to remember to appreciate what you have, even if there's other stuff you really want.
