Looking at you Chogokin Galliar. Everything was nearly perfect until I realized this. It's a shame, I feel like the figure could definitely have been made to accommodate it even with the transformation.

every fucking revoltech I have. I bought 3, from different times, just to see if they got better.

DMC3 Dante, looks very bad from any angle unless something on the box.

War Machine, cant stand, looks awkward, joints are awful.

Monster Hunter same as the first two.

Yeah those cemented me in never buying from them.

Their stuff looks cool though

Had an Eva-00 that fit that description. That "one pose" wasn't even good. I can't remember the brand but it was only like 20 bucks. Paint wasn't bad though.

Thing that gets me is that it had swappable hands and accessories so it was like it was trying to escape that convention, but ultimately failing.

Also had Marvel Select (I think; didn't have the box) Ultimate Hulk like that. I should have known from the start when such a large figure was so light. Should have gotten the Black Stormtrooper instead.

Ball joints, I've always wanted a figure that can just come apart! I certainly didn't pay good money for something that is sturdy and will last. Ball joints are always perfect and never have qc issues. I'd sacrifice the 10 degrees of rotation in a hip for something that didn't allow my toys to pop apart with little to no effort.

Sounds like one of those old Kaiyodo/Xebec figures, they were the ooooold Evangelion figures and came in posed and standing still versions.

I wish the SoC line was like the classic chogokin lines in that respect. They'd part out figures so you had an alternative to buying the set. That said, I can't see GGG's other components selling well if they did that, but I digress. I have GGG, but I'd love to have a standalone Gaigar. He's like a cousin to the Transformers, and it amuses me that he and BW Cheetor's design both originate in 96 from takara toys yet are totally different aesthetically. The first time I tried to put revolmini snake's rifle into his hand, I took 10 minutes to do it because I was sure it was going to break his fingers off. I've literally never taken it out again, I just use his left hand for everything else.
