I haven't read the series but Medicos seemed to cover Ajin's bases with the IBM release since it represents both character's IBM's or Ajin but only through the head with the idea to buy another IBM SAS to put it on so they can fight. I'm not sure if they even planned to do the humans since the IBM's themselves are better suited for figures to them.

Though I haven't seen RWBY, Medico's must've noticed enough interest and thought they should capitalize or so I guess versus other figure companies at this scale. I'm not sure if those fans even acknowledge the figure enough to make a preorder when it comes up but it's a chance they are taking next to the mainline JJBA figures.

I saw the anime on Netflix and love this character. The manga made him even better. He really deserves an SAS over this RWBY shit. But I'm hyped as FUCK for this DRIFTERS line even though I still feel the manga hasn't gone anywhere. The prototypes look fantastic.

Im satisfied with most of the releases Medicos has coming in the next quarters other than the RWBY. Not 100% on Tokyo Ghoul but I really do like the way Suzuya look. Next to Marvel Legends and I guess now Medicos, who else is doing these larger scale releases for this particular market? I've seen larger scale toys for stuff like Batman at isles in Target but they have very little articulation and mostly aimed at kids.

Hope you enjoy him anon. The blue paint used is really eye catching though if you plan to get the flowing hair head from WF GER at some point I remember the shading to vary on releases. I know Wond's Gio head and WF Gio's chest had a strong contrast in shading.

I think it'll eventually drop, but I can see WF Okuyasu's price going either way.

On one hand, pink Oku is part of a "set". Plus, people who have been waiting for Okuyasu's normal rerelease might cave and pick up WF Oku instead. On the other hand, the pink hair and brightass pink clothes might be a turnoff (and unlike pink Josuke's there's no special alt head to build more incentive).

I have no idea. I started my collection out with PAK Raiden (yeah, really), and I mean - he was okay. But it just didn't work for me. Too big, too clumsy, too expensive and too easy to see imperfections.

Then I tried Figma, and I left anything that isn't 1/12 or around the 6 inch mark behind. Never had the urge to go for 12 inch shit after that. None of it really looks appealing to me

But different strokes for different folks.

Probably similar to Nendoroids.

SAS are generally average for the most part for certain exceptions do exist if the design allows it. Though looking at the prototype it seems the legs will have some limitations and it has the standard shoulder articulation though it seems she has single jointed elbows instead of the usual double joints that SAS have.

SAS is fairly unknown in my mind when compared to GSC and Bandai's lines. People must be used to that standard and when fans hear that a company called Medicos Entertainment is doing figures of this scale then I can see groups being annoyed in some way which is odd since some casual research can show the quantities of SAS when it comes to sculpt and paint for the most part.

People are odd sometimes, I remember seeing a FB post shown for the Revo Deadpool and people are complaining about the gap in the shoulders but not knowing the ease of range it allows.

JoJo newfag here, currently reading through part 5.
Not too long ago I bought the second Jotaro figure, my first and to this day only Medicos, I was looking to expand a bit my collection and was wandering about what to get next. I was really considering Mista or maybe Rohan. Josuke is pretty nice but I don't really like the blue-ish colour and the pink one is way too expensive. Any advice? Are there particularly good ones that I shouldn't miss? Any favourites you'd recommend? I can only get the "affordable" ones, so nothing over 50 dollars

from what I've gathered it seems like the new rohan will be pretty pricey, am I wrong? I found the pink one for 46 dollars, but maybe I'll just go for Mista, he's just 35 or so and the whole gun down the pants thing is pretty nice, the only thing that holds me is that he looks pretty small compared to the buffer guys from part 1-3

Part 2 Joseph is probably the best from the line, though he might be in the pricier range depending on where you get him from. Especially the green WF version.

Mista's great fun though, so if you're thinking about him I'd go for it.

It's not the insecurity but I would say Medicos did an interesting thing going for pink instead of the blue as his 1st release since it seems there's a common desire for his blue outfit. It's either sites know the popularity of this colorway is there, the usual WF rarity deal but given how cheap WF GE and WF GER with the alt head I'm not sure how accountable that is and probably some other factor I'm not remembering.

And also the glossy paint apps versus both of the new Giorno's. Other than that it should be somewhat interesting to see the new Giorno releasing and if it has any impact on this.

Supply and demand. Most of the WF exclusives used to go for a pretty penny (Killer Queen 3rd being a good example, and Crazy Diamond Second, while not as expensive, was quite pricey too).

Then the resurgence of popularity due to the anniversary and anime kicked in, as well as price speculators saw how much previous exclusives would go for, and SAS became a scalper target.

So previously most of the exclusives were bought up by those intending to keep them, making them more scarce on the aftermarket.

Later though they were scalped up, meaning the after market was flooded with them.

Then I realised that I'd literally be buying it for the sake of it, despite having no investment in the Baoh manga. It's gonna be tough since SAS releases are almost a rarity these days, but I'm gonna try and pass.

Depends on the area. Some areas are where "bad employees" are sent and they continue doing the same shitty job. Except now they are all concentrated in one area guaranteeing anyone who lives on their route will get their shit smashed in every single time without fail. Generally if you're in the better part of town rich people won't put up with this shit and bad employees are dealt with quickly. If you're in a low income neighborhood you have a greater chance of being on the bad employee route.

Josuke is pretty okay all around but the usual issue is his face and Medicos rushing him out for Jojolion. You have a decent amount of accessories and the bubble hand is a nice touch. Also his shirt around the abdominal area sort of moves around for more dynamic posing.

S&W is very limited in articulation due to design. Don't expect to do a lot compared to other SAS's with an ab crunch and double jointed limbs. At least you have different heads with one recalling the one of the original designs of him and hands with metal paint on the fingers instead of white.

$80 for both a little much since I remember the lowest they can be found is 2500 but if you have prime or some sort of credit towards them then go ahead.

Josuke/Soft and Wet have been out for some time now but people complain about the facesculpt and Medicos rushing them out for Jojolion instead of waiting and refining their designs. Only upside is they are pretty cheap.

I highly doubt Damo and even Vitamin C would get an SAS since he isn't the final villain. At best he and/or Vitamin C are going to get Statue Legends. If anything Medicos will either reconsider current Josuke and do a 1.5 deal like Jotaro or make a recolor with the new headsculpt added in to compensate earlier buyers when they enter the Jojolion phase.

Kira and new KQ should be a possibility, Yashuo and her stand should be an obvious combo for Jojolion, maybe Joshuu and Nut King Call if he has a serious enough presence for Medicos to consider. And the obvious final villain and his stand whoever that may be.

Most King Crimsons I see posted have some variation of it. I know the first I saw of his WF variant had his neutral face with both eyes looking up and an anon here has the worst case of it

I'm not sure how bad or better is got when King Crimson Blue ver. was released but my personal case on both WF and Blue wasn't as bad or as noticeable unless you look very closely though one of the eyes are slightly misaligned. Similar case with his screaming head. Epitaph has a similar case.

I can't speak for all but just hope you get lucky when he comes in.

It's just a rule for maintaning space.

I have a good deal of franchises I like, but by setting an arbitrary rule it helps me maintain my display inbetween rotations.

I know it means I can't do cool displays like the anons in here who get full part displays, I guess it just depends how you want to collect.

If you're the creative type and you don't mind getting your hands dirty you could always try to add a new shelf into your room yourself. Granted that's kind of a pain in the ass.

Also I'd say you can't go wrong with Josuke and Crazy diamond.

Since I didn't notice your reply. Here's what I do for the shit I want on Mandy thats on high demand. Find a sold out listing. When you click it you see a list of all previous listings for that item all along the bottom. Find the common keyword and use that for your Figinstock notifications as well as the general name of the character. For Kira it was

Funny though I don't collect stands, but I think I may. I bought Silver Chariot for the turtle and laptop and Diver Down, because I adore his color...I don't even like part 6.

Actually the "regular bow" you see is just an option part for the crossbow to switch it out for when it's not loaded. But nevertheless they do look good. If you're willing to shell out a bit more money you can get the Wonfes version which comes with a smirking face for Joseph.

Don't hamhand/hotglue. Though personally I just try to keep them in a cool spot like any other figure, especially during hotter days of summer.

I think it depends for the character. Honestly, in my opinion, Gappy looks better in white, but Kira looks better wearing purple with blonde hair. Same with Mista being more colorful.

The earliest I remember at release was some oddities with the sculpt on some heads when anon's posted shots though it could be a bad batch early on though I think it was related to the robo head more than the human one.

I know me and Baldy had an odd one with Stone Free's waist joint being easily disconnected with the abdomen. Granted this is easily fixable but lead to an unintentional effect of when you only see stands halfway behind the user so it's an odd plus in my book.

Not much else on my end and other anon's who posted about Stone Free.

The only fucky figures I've had from the Stone Ocean set was a messed up antenna on Kiss, a crooked neck joint on WF Jolyne, and a broken elbow on Diver Down.

Looks better because the promo pictures were oversaturated as fuck. The colors are more dull on the actual figure, which means they look less garish and eye blindingly bright.

Still not a good color combo in my eyes, but at least it's acceptable.

That does look a lot better than promos. Damn. The red stands out a lot more. I kind of wish they would have done the suit as red and the shirt as mustard, but it still looks better than I thought. I'm curious to see what he'd look like with the 1st PB Dio's head.

I much prefer the older style head. It looks like its got suction cups and gives it a more piratey or sailor vibe. i just realized how cool a pirate JoJo could be.

I dont have the p3 so i cant compare articulation, (though id assume p5 was better because p3 was like the 3rd sas ever made)

p5 has a shorter head + arrow pierced alt head, is missing both feet and a hand, has different accesories, and the hip design seems pretty different if you compare both sculpts.

No you just like the part. Fujo's probably focus purely on the boys and ignore everything else. The scene with Giorno healing Mista with Nanarcia watching doesn't help.

I'd imagine discussion with them will be just as awkward as that one female interviewer for Araki.
