If you pay attention, and actually look at some of the posts that people make here, and read what they say, you'd see it too.I've been here day one and I do pay attention. You probably only post in shit threads where company fanboys are found, but in many threads, it's very calm and generally positive. Marvel threads can be shit from time to time, but a lot of posters ignore that shit and try to move away from it. Same with the jojo and model threads. The GI Joe thread is almost nothing but cool bros, even though they share it with other 1:18 lines sometimes.
Former chill threads were NECA and Star Wars, until "rivals" started making toys.
Still, the cool chill posters outnumber the fanboys and shitposters by a vast majority. Even in threads where people are threatening each other, it's only three or four people max being assholes. remember that thread with the inferiority complex asians? That was like 4 guys and they didn' teven want to fuck each other over.

And I agree, the past isn't any better than the present... actually it's better since mods pay attention now.
