>>5859045>SideshowPretty ugly-looking figure, and it's on Sideshow's own creaky breakage-prone buck. Definitely not on par with a Hot Toys figure for the price.
>Hot ToysYou have several options:
1) Christopher Reeves Superman - an AWESOME figure, one of their absolute best. Unfortunately there have been recent reports of a longevity issue where the S-shield appliqué has been dissolving. Seems to be an issue with every single figure. If you could obtain one of Tony Mei's superior replacement onesies it'd still be worth getting.
2) Evil Superman: Chris Reeves Supes with a spiffy new base, and appropriately darker colourscheme and stubble from Superman III. No reports of S-shield melting to date.
3) Superman Returns: old, awful by today's standards. Don't bother.
4) Man of Steel: great figure, solid sculpt, good tailoring, cape slightly inaccurate at the shoulders. Can be had surprisingly cheap on the aftermarket.
5) Batman V Superman: a refined version of the MoS figure with an even better sculpt, better tailoring, and better cape. Just released.
>MedicomTheir Nu52 Superman is pretty nice by all accounts. Like most Medicom figures though, it's pricey for what you get and slightly shorter than average for a 1/6 figure.
>Super AlloyThis company went to the wall for a good reason. Terrible product, not one had working electronics, joints self-destruct over time. Never heard a good word about their Superman, avoid.
