>>5860728Depends. I have a pretty varied collection from them and the quality seems to hinge on the type of figure. The bots are awesome. I've been happy with every one I've received. My favorite is a tie between Bad Bot and Commander Dropcloth. They've been doing the same style bots for a while, so it makes since that build quality for them is pretty solid.
The human figures are a little more risky, especially if the design has boots as it severely limits the ankle articulation. IE, I have a Nom de Plume and while I love his design and the quality of his outfit, I can't do anything too extreme for a standing pose. I've heard though that the newer human characters use a better, tighter base body, so you're probably better off buying from the newer stuff.
What seems to be getting the most flack right now is the weirder stuff and licensed content. It's literally a heavy sided coin toss. So you'll get something awesome like the Zombie Astronaut or Destiny figure, but then get these badly designed Master Chiefs or fucking statue Ultrons. It safe to say that 3A just hasn't figured out a method of building something that's not a bot or TK, which is a shame, because a lot of this stuff looks great from the pictures.
I will say that as far as the hollow thing goes, that seems to be a constant across a lot of 1/6 figures. These at least feel a bit more sturdy than the Hot Toys stuff. Sturdy enough to survive my gorilla hands anyways.
