A camera is a tool. You need to know how to use it properly. I've seen some beautiful shots done on a mobile, and I've seen some absolute shit made with a top of the line camera.
These aren't bad at all. You DO need to work a little on composition and backgrounds, and the posing is a tad stiff, but I've seen far worse.
Save your money and read/watch some tutorials. You'll do fine.
