for some, go for the SS line, since those are the newest and have more accurate molds.
regulars to avoid
>Decade >Kuuga >Agito >Kabuto >W i would also avoid the Fourze, OOO, and Wizard lines as they have bad proportions and could possibly be next in the SS line.
The showa figures are great, But I would avoid any of Figuarts Early stuff.
Anonymous
>>5859424 Fourze is actually pretty solid and goes for a pretty alright price these days, i'd recommend him if you don't mind his relatively dated engineering.
Anonymous
Got in the Amazon and Jungler pack and I'm pretty impressed. Wasn't quite ready to see the size of the completed Jungler though after experiencing SS Kabuto and now Amazon, I'm not exactly a fan of the movable pecs.
Anonymous
>>5859436 fourze is okay, but for me he's got a weird off-white colour and his proportions are kinda wonky.
The only reason I said to avoid is that he's a pre-gaim figuarts and is probably close to getting a SS soon. (Right after normal Kiva)

Man, it would make my day if the SS renewal was still compatible with the modules, that would be the icing on the cake.
Anonymous
>>5859451 Not buying Jungler before it went up in price is one of my regrets.
And yeah, I hate the pecs on both Kabuto and Amazon. A part of me just wants to glue Amazon's pecs together.
>>5859436 You forgot to mention that the add-on set + module sets are like 200-300yen each, with the exclusive set being a modest price of 2500~. Ridiculous amount of play value for cheap.
If you like Fourze as a character/design, I'd just get him on that basis alone. You wouldn't be paying much + a SHFSS is going to take a long time to happen.
Anonymous
So what's the better show and line? Gaim, Drive, or Ghost?
Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>5859506 Gaim was the better show, but i'd say that the Gaim and Drive line were pretty comparable, however the Gaim final form was somewhat notorious for off QC with a chest sticker and a huge immobile cape while the Drive final form hasn't even come out yet.
So far from Ghost we've only had a smattering of releases, so it's probably too early to judge the whole line.
Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>5859506 Not Ghost for sure.
Gaim and Drive as a show both have their pros and cons. Toy-wise, it's going to be Gaim for sure.
Anonymous

Overall I think he's fine. I don't think Bandai can fully replicate dat thick, if that movie Rider 1 is another example.
Anonymous
>>5859588 I certainly wouldn't want him to be built like Beefygou, but on par with SS Hibiki would be nice. Guess Bandai's sculptors just aren't trained enough.
Anonymous
>>5859596 Hibiki is kinda lanky too, though.
I think guys like Kuuga (esp. Ultimate) and Agito are nicer examples. They all use non-pull out hips, so maybe that's why?

Anonymous
>>5859694 I hope Bandai just increases output on SHFSS in general.
Shit's too slow, man.
Anonymous
>>5859711 They're definitely working on increasing it.
2014 had Kabuto and Hibiki
2015 had Kuuga, a Kuuga reissue, and Agito
2016 has had Decade, Kabuto reissue, Gattack x2, Kuuga Rising, Kuuga Ultimate x2, N Daguva, and W.
The only other one we've seen so far is Diend, but 2017 could bring us upgrades of Kabuto, Decade, and W, along with Faiz and Kiva.
Anonymous
>>5859728 Ah, you're completely right. Shame almost half of it is just fucking Kuuga alone.
I wonder if we could expect Agito's and Hibiki's secondary Riders soon, since they've made Decade's and Kabuto's.
Anonymous
>>5859747 Hibiki and Agito didn't perform very well, I wouldn't hold out hope. They never even made Hibiki's bike despite all of the rider machine pushing they've done over the past few years.
Anonymous
>>5859758 Agito seems more like the case of Bandai assuming he'd sell as well as their prior release (Kuuga), though.
Agito as a series and character aren't unpopular, unlike Hibiki and Kiva.
Anonymous
>>5859765 True, maybe I'm being too pessimistic. I just imagine that if one was coming, we would have seen an Agito secondary instead of Diend more than a year in advance.
Anonymous
>>5859772 Well, I'm positive at one point they'll get to Agito's.

Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>5860635 MFC lists release date by the most recent renewal, putting old figures years into the future, exclusives and general releases are mixed in together, and any bundle of figures is separated out so a single release can take up multiple slots. Or I can post the list for anyone who wants an overview and you can not bitch about it.

>>5866023 Chase was a good character surrounded by other good characters. It's just a shame the first 20 or so episodes were dragged down by the plot relying too much on him.

>>5866038 Yes. A lot of people say the first 20 or so episodes are slow, so you have to stick it out, but those complaints were made when the show was airing weekly, so on a marathon watch, it'll be better for the viewer.
It's a good show overall with a lot of likeable characters and one of the better final bosses KR has had for a fair few years.
We also got a pretty neato crossover from it in a v-cinema too.
>>5866040 I haven't enjoyed Ghost much at all and I'm in the same boat as you regarding its toys. So far, despite the absurdity, I'm liking Ex-aids designs and toys, so I'm hoping the show is good.

It's just a gimmick Bandai's going to use to inflate prices up the ass on all their figures. Can't wait for every standard Rider release to come packed with their bike for 12000 yen.

>>5869572 >>5869579 I wonder how much attention Bandai actually gives to these surveys. I know GSC has gone on record saying that they at least read the emails and compile the suggestions/requests for future reference.

Damn, sometimes I hate Mandarake. Finally quick enough to get Figuarts Baltan right when he comes instock, only to get the cancellation notice. This isn't the first time this has happened and it won't be the last, but it still hurts none the less.

I know this isn't /m/ but I don't wanna ask /m/, is Kamen Rider Decade (movie) a good entry point for bug men of justice?

If you wanted to start kamen rider with a movie then i'd recommend Shin, ZO and J, those three are pretty much good in their own certain ways and depending on which ones you like it'll be easy to recommend which shows you might like.
