The new 6inch Tomy figures are just as good as the D-Arts figures, if not better in some respects.

hopefully Bandai sees how well TOMY is doing with Greninja and decide to do one, though, we are heading into a new generation and they had 3 years to make one

I'm still debating whether to get SHF Charizard; preorders close in a few days and I don't know..might just do it to avoid thr latercomers tax. Wish it was Blastoise that got the reprint, I've always wanted it.

i own charizard myself and thats a really bad photo to base your opinion on it from. the figure is close to perfect, the megahouse figures looks like bootlegged figuarts/d arts figures,
and as for blastiose, they will probably release blastiose and venusaur, at least blastoise considering the showd them both with charizard in the photos

I've tried to do merch/plush threads on /vp/ but they always end up being purged because of how fast the board moves. It's a Nendoroid, so you know what to expect already - stellar paint/plastic quality, minimal articulation supplemented with swappable limbs, parts-swapping fun if you're into that kinda thing, the works. It won't sway you if you don't like the whole Nendoroid aesthetic, but if you're cool with super-deformed figures and want an N figure, it's by far the best on the market.

Did anyone else pre-order the RAH Mewtwo, and if so, what do you think of it?

I PO'd it, but to be honest I'd prefer the D-Arts version to go with the others in my collection. I still think he looks cool and the effects are nice, but stylistically he's more muscled and grittier.

So to me I pretty much know what to expect when I get a figure, regardless of how well it is articulated, I know what character I am getting. Great articulation can make a toy more enjoyable for sure, but for a cheap Tomy Greninja, I would never expect it to be anything more than a plastic representation.

Why would you expect more from Tomy? It's super cheap and your expectations of Greninja should never have been higher than 'hunk of plastic' with it's biggest plus being character representation.

I wonder if we'll get any more posable figures for the 2nd evolutions of other generations. These were so great for scale sets. The Takara Tomys were a nice alternative, but they have too little variation. I'd like to see Gen 2, as there's fuck all out there for that line, and Croconaw needs a good figure.

TT's moncolle line is the only line getting released/localized internationally. Tomy USA distributes original molds to the USA, but not Japan, except Greninja and the Mega zards. The only way japan likely gets our bigger M-Sableye and big Gogoat toys, etc are through online or import stores.

Rowlett is definitely the coolest grass starter they've ever had (along with Bulbabutt). Normally I overlook grass starters, cause it doesn't feel as powerful as fire or water. But Rowlett has a lot of charm. I hope his evos don't let him down.

Yeah /vp/ is drowning in that shit at the moment. I quite like Robinhoot though! I think the archery is a neat idea despite some people hating it. It's not any dumber than Blastoise cannons. The only one I can't get into is Litten3. Fire types are my favourite, and another fighting type with big goofy hands is disappointing for me.

Went on the hunt for Greninja today, but had no luck. I ended up buying a bunch of other stuff though. It was a pretty good day.

Just got this guy for 13€.
Pretty disappointed even as such a low price. He isn't really posable, the paint is meh, and the lack of shuriken is kinda sad.
I take requests for poses but you have to know he isn't really good when it comes to articulation.

Machamp seemed to have set the bar quite high. I really like the Mega Lucario I have (nothing else but Ash and Blaziken have showed up). He's definitely lacking some points of articulation but for what he is I think he's great.

Just in case anyone was wondering you can swap out the buckle on the newest clip 'n' carry belt to a longer (not child sized) belt pretty easily.

So the build a bear Eevee is out, and they also restocked Pikachu. Now I've got him in person, his actual fur is definitely more accurate, I don't know what's up with the professional photos. He's a pretty nice plush for the base price of 28 dollars if you ask me. Also, if anyone wants either of these, go now. Even though it was Thursday and a smaller city, there was a big line at my store and they definitely won't stay in stock for long at all.

They only had the pokeball pajamas for Eevee and I didn't like them enough to spend 13 dollars on them. The lady said the pokeball hoodie for Pikachu should be restocked, but she didn't know when.
The Eeveelution cape, and Pikachu's Charizard hoodie as well as their sound boxes are all online exclusives, unfortunately.

Same, mine is on the way from Amazon at the moment. I don't expect it to be super either, but I'm happy to have another articulated gen starter to add to the collection. It looks like it's in scale with the D-Arts as well, which I like. I'm trying to collect all the starters in this way, so anything that fits the bill is good for me.

The clip n carry line has been going on for years, since Black&White came out. I currently own 21 total. Not all are pictured. I have a couple stashed away just in case they don't release a certain type, I can make customs.

I never thought they would make a net ball, so I had already made my own. (pic related) I hope they make a nest ball next.
