As for broadside/tidalwave, here's something to keep in mind
NONE of his legs are actually essentially to the robot or ship mode. You can pretty much just remove them and have the same forms.
The lion head is folded inward for the ship mode too.
It looks like the lion head will be replaced with a flat portion for the back of the boat mode, and likely a nosecone underneath.
My bet is that plane mode, much like galvatron's, will basically be "moves these 4 things, and voila" but it'll involve flipping it over.
They'll replace the cockpit with a jet cockpit, and the fancy chest with a flat surface, and spin the waist around and voila, one side is a ship, then split the legs to make "wings" and spin the torso back around, close up the nosecone shoulders and voila, jet mode.
I think it'll be like highbrow. No one realized it was a remold at first until they noticed swappable parts. It seems to be a trend now, remolds so intensive you might as well call them "design mates" because that's where they started to diverge.
