I get rid of them. If the art is sufficiently cool I'll keep the boxtop e.g. on Gunpla. I always keep manuals and included accessory baggies.

I used to keep gunpla boxes all folded up due to the art but then I realized that I can just get hi-res scans and keep them in a folder on my desktop.

Pretty much how op's pic is. I only save boxes for my more expensive figs, like my 1/6th scales, and shit that has a lot of accessories, like the Revo Skelly. When I can get a more permanent place to live and displays I'll trash most of them.

I throw away the clamshells for the deluxe and smaller size class Transformers and if its a box I usually keep unless the box is really crappy.

For my more expensive MP/3P Transformers, vintage Sentai mechs and any other Japanese import stuff; throwing a box is a big no-no since those toys appeal and resell-ability relies a lot on their boxes.
