>>5886519Ooh, that's a good one. I actually love their channel, although it kind of shows that there's two different types of content for toy reviews. Stuff like toy galaxy is straight up entertainment. They don't really go over articulation in depth like I usually expect, but they're scripted and, again, actually entertaining. I'll watch one of their videos for stuff I'm not even into because I'll almost always get a chuckle out of it. I don't watch their stuff to decide if I'm gonna buy something or not, because they rarely review all the figures in a given wave.
Jay c and shartimus do, though, so they're where I go when I want to see something about a toy I actually have or am looking to buy. Articulation, paint, etc are tend to be the deciding factors then, and that's basically all I need to see. Show me how far generic spandex man #145 can kick, and I'm good to go. You could literally mute the video and get what you need out of it.
On that note, legends actually ended up fairly lucky, as there's several competent people who do this style. I rarely watch videos on stuff like transformers anymore because I can't tolerate anyone who actually does most of the releases. Stuff like sentinel is a ghost town.
