if i could recommend a starter the red genesect is really good it has minimal stickers and its a very good start pierce

hydreigon set is really bad because the sticker is flat and his belly is round so theres a lot of gaps and air bubbles

you're gonna really need to research model kit glue for stickers though because they are horrendous.

I was lucky enough to find one for a good price on ebay a while back. His tail plastic is a little miscolored, but otherwise he's great. Obviously the articulation isn't really there, but I love having a Feraligatr that scales pretty well with 1/12 figures. I wish there were more large figures of large pokemon.

I've been looking for the Jakks Gardevoir for a good price, but haven't really had any luck. Really hoping they might do a Pokken figure of her.

I'll buy anything Mimikyu, and I hope for them to bring back those articulated vinyl-ish larger figures with Zygarde Complete, Solgaleo, and Lunala. I hope they do a cool Rotom Pokédex too.

Thing is, the Gundam anime actually has a narrative and characters who actually develop.

I mean compare the Digimon anime, multiple seasons with almost all their own story, characters, and setting with set endings for each, to the Pokemon one that is just an elaborate commercial with each episode focusing on a Pokemon or feature from the recent games.

I'm in the middle of building a Misty nendo as well. I'm going for an in-game sprite with a swimsuit (seeing as all the nendos so far are game versions).

Thanks. Those are a few of my remaining Pokemon from years ago. I kept a few favorites but had to toss the rest.

Faceplate is racing Asuka's, shorts from Otosaka Ayumi, legs from Nico.. but I'm still experimenting with parts.

Red's arms kinda work with Rin's sleeve. Ball holding hands are from one of the Reds. Can't recall which.

I can't find a good swimsuit body similar to the game sprite, and I can't bear to destroy any of the More bodies because they're so hard to come by now.

Here's my 'updated' swimmy Misty. Just Rin's top with Marine-chan's lower bits.

You'll be horrified to know that I ordered a Nendo More swimsuit and I'm thinking of customising it haha. I'll see though. I can't find some bare legs with sandals though, so I have a pair with trainers like in LG/FR.

Whose legs have trainer shoes? I thought of using Kanbaru from the gatari series but her socks ruin it.

Sandals.. I think there are only Japanese sandals like on Queens Blade Tomoe or the Touken Ranbu guys. You could mod one of the barefoot legs from the various swimmer Nendoroids I suppose.

Yeah, they carry other quadruped clothes, including a MLP line, but if you want my advice, go to a pet store and pick up clearance dog clothing. Fits just as well, wider selection, and much cheaper.

Their regular teddies (or Pikachu) fits premie baby clothes, which if you can find a speciality store for, is also much cheaper than build a bear stuff.

I got some legs with blue trainers from the Cheerleader nendo set. But they have socks too so they'll need some careful altering.

I actually came across a random Family Mart Miku that has white flip-flops. But like you said, it's so much effort/money for a tiny mod you could manage yourself.

Yea, the cushion ones are fairly large plushies. Amazon themselves had the Ditto and Snorlax from the first Sanei series for 40$ and 50$ respectively. Had to settle for Gulpin for 60$ from a 3rd party. Hoping Amazon will do the same for these, but might be a long wait.

keep in mind that's Pokemon Center plush sizes and prices; HLJ, Amiami, etc. will be different. Right now, the only plush I can think of off the top of my head, without it being a custom and still on the market, is the Ditto Vaporeon from the Transform! line (it's around 7 inches). The regular sized plush went out of stock at the US Pokemon Center, but it could restock at any time; other than that, check HLJ, Amiami, etc.

I answered this in the previous thread. Unless you're really, really skinny it's not going to fit you. The new one is the exact same length as the older ones. However you can swap out the belt for another nylon strap fairly easily.

The buckle is pretty fuckin badass, you push on the pokeball and it opens like a seatbelt.

I have the GEM and HG Misty figures, I'm not a big fan since I thought they would be smaller. The figures are very nice but not for the price, I'd actually expect them to be a bit better, especially the HG figure. Out of the two GEM Misty is definitely better but I'd still choose the HG one for the fact that it's the Misty based from the games.

I also have Ash/James/Jessie of the GEM figures. I kind of regret getting them, they're dynamic poses make them take too much space on my shelf and I was looking for something smaller.

That's what I plan to do, for a fraction of the price. You can get some nice printed ones too.

These don't look that special, their frame looks like something from the dollar store and that price is nonsense.

Figuarts Lucario and D-arts Mewtwo are pretty good, although I don't know what they're going for these days. Aside from that, if you want figures that are in-scale with the 6" stuff, you're mostly going to have to do some strategic mixing and matching between MonColle figures and Jakks figures.

There's also D-Arts Blastoise, Charizard and Venusaur, although they're pretty expensive. Tomy have a 6" Greninja now and some 2nd stage evolutions who are in scale.
