While they were getting that shit straightened out, business as usual was going on with other retailers. 3-4 months late *getting the item to retail*, not 3-4 months late soliciting them to retailers. Bandai's order window for retailers isn't that big, and Bluefin's window is even shorter. If they get Shin and solicit it by the end of this month, retailers will get, like, 2 weeks to get orders in if they're lucky.
>>5909230Actually, yes for Warner. With the 2014 movie, Toho's licensing/contracts/what have you with Warner gave them the NA licensing for Godzilla merch, too, even beyond the 2014 movie. Diamond, at least their employees, are rather transparent and said as much. A lot of their planned releases and reissues, mainly X-Plus ones and some Marmits, were delayed after announced release dates and some weren't even announced for months after they were suppose to be (example, supposed to be shown at NYCC, shown in January) because after clearing it with Toho, they then needed Warner's approval..
