Probably because the line was designed and promised as a 1/18th line. The proportions look off scaled up and the entire concept- building legions- is harder when the toys are bigger. Switching to 1/12 at the last minute was a garbage decision.

They wound up costing a couple of dollars more, and yeah, good for you, you're a 1/12 fag, but there's plenty of 1/18 fans as the same amount of people backed for boss fight. Have fun getting castles and dragons for your 1/12 line, you'll get one every four years and it will cost $350+

This. The figures themselves might be a somewhat better value, but that disappears and negates once you start upping the size of the items. I remember talk of creatures and playsets back when this line was first doing show rounds and it's very obvious they will be few and far between. The trolls look awesome(I ordered one, one of my few purchases from the line so far), but would have been anywhere from $25-$40 cheaper in a 1/12 line. The bigger you go the greater this gap will get. And I'm sure that if we ever want a decent castle for these guys, Grayskull will be our only option for a long, long time.

Birds were never set to ship in spring, it was always a late summer thing. But with the delays in the main line's production, all their products got pushed back. The birds will be coming in with the 1.5 wave and the missing Legion Builders early october.

I love my batch of wave 1s, kind of wish I got more because the mix and match aspect adds a whole new level of fun to these guys. Wave 2 looks like it'll be even better as some of those female knights look amazing.

... actually, checking it out, HACKS had more backers than Legion.

Still impressive nonetheless and shows there's more people wanting stuff in 1:18.

Whatever, Boss fight figures are ok, but for now the majority of my money goes to Acid rain. I'm sure it will be just a matter of time before another top notch 1/18 line comes along.

Absolutely loving my figures. To no surprise, the Barbarian Builder and Vorgo are my favorites, but my Orc army builder and Gideon are a lot of fun.
Looking forward to grabbing the Silver Female Knight and the Female Vampire Knight come the 2.0 kickstarter.

The only problems I have with the figures are the lack of down/up wrist tilts, very minor paint chipping, and the risk of hands warping and stretching over time.

I'm hoping they announce wing back attachments soon. Some black or bat wings would look dope on Vorgo.
Or maybe even some primary-colored loose armor attachments.
