The place to go is "Gachapon Kaikan" in Akihabara district in Tokyo. HUNDREDS of machines, stacked 3 or 4 high. The hard part is FINDING the place. See, I don't have a smartphone, so all I had were general instructions on getting there. Then I found out that many streets in Tokyo often do not have names. And they don't have numbers over the doorway either. So you're wandering up and down Chuo street, asking random people until someone points you to the right place.
But once you're there, it's toy-gasm time.
